Chenille is a type of yarn that is fuzzy and has pile protruding from the surface of the yarn.  It is used to make “Chenille patches” which are often oversized patches and for special events.

PBFD stands for “Paul Bunyan Field Day”, which is a campwide activity focuses on campcraft competitions such as fire building, knot tying, and feats of strength.

Trader Bill’s is the name of the trading post at Camp Horseshoe, first opened in 2006 and named after longtime Reservation Manager William “Bill” Hess.
