Alemain (pronounced “alle main”) is one of the most recognizable cheers from the summer camp experience at Camp Horseshoe. And for decades has been the official camp cheer for the Horseshoe Staff.

The HSRAA is proud to showcase our newest completed project, Alemain Pavilion. Located in the center of Staff City, Alemain Pavilion will serve as a common gathering area for the camp staff – a place for camaraderie, collaboration and fellowship. Camp staff is more than a summer job, it’s a pathway to lifelong friendships. The HSRAA is proud to support the camp staff with this project.

Thank you to all our supporters, contributors and members for making this possible. And thanks to Dick Bensing and Mark Siegel for initiating and then scaling this effort, and to the Chester County Council especially Ryan Teat and Jake Segal for their support.

The mission of the HSRAA is to support and enable capital improvements to Horseshoe Scout Reservation that improve the depth and character of the summer camp experience. For 26 years the association has been committed to this ongoing effort and is proud of our many projects. Anyone who has ever camped a night at Horseshoe or Ware is invited to join our association, our next event is our annual reunion on July 17 at Horseshoe. See you there.
