The camp rangers are accustomed to getting down in the dirt to keep the camp functioning throughout the year, but occasionally they get in their uniforms when they can find them. Ranger Chris Wilder shows off his uniforming during the mid-summer Vigil Weekend.

Here are several Camp Horseshoe staff members on Staff Line prior to evening retreat.

The 2008 Camp Horseshoe Staff takes a break from preparing for camp by spending a little quality time bonding over a few pizzas at Grotto’s in Newark.

Handicraft Director Andrew Curtin shows great dedication to being at camp- his stress fracture put him up on crutches but he was determined to lead his department.

Cleaning Upper Kindness Center
The Camp Horseshoe staff sweeps out the Kindness Center during staff week. The huge square footage of the building makes this a multi-person task, but because Art merit badge is held in Upper Kindness, the place must be spotless before camp opens.
