Room Details

The Camp Staffs during the ’50s helped the Camp evolve more toward the HSR of today as the Explorer Base was developed and opened.

Exhibits in this Room:

404.1 – 1950 Camp Staff

This exhibit includes some staff photos and a directory of the staff working at Camp Horseshoe in 1950.

404.3 – 1952 Camp Staff

This exhibit includes some staff photos and a directory of the staff working at Camp Horseshoe in 1952.

<strong>Edward 'Casey' Jones</strong> stands tall at the pool. <em>I am guessing that this was in 1952 when Casey was the Assistant Aquatics director.</em>

404.4 – 1953 Camp Staff

This exhibit so far only contains some memorabilia, but any help about the 1953 camp staff in terms of pictures or a staff listing would be helpful. Send to curator@hsraa.org!

This neckerchief was given to staff members in the early 1950s, before they had triangle patches sewn onto the neckerchief to denote the year.
