Exhibit Details
Though some programs call for participants to have Outpost meals, Camp Ware staffers get their meals here and many others from the Special Camporee to Cub Scouts have great fun as program is best delivered on a full stomach at HSR.

Renovation Project
Display Details
In 2012, the Octoraro Lodge #22 began fundraising for the Camp Ware Dining Hall renovation project with the aim of making the facility operable year round. With improvements for heating and air conditioning, the facility can be used for banquets, meetings, seminars, or conferences by the BSA or other groups at any time throughout the year. Construction finished up in 2016.

As part of the annual gala, the Camp Ware Dining Hall naming rights are auctioned off. Here are some of the signs created for the auction winners over the years.
Portmanteau Sign

This unusual sounding name sounds like something out of Ancient Egypt, but it is actually a conglomeration of a few letters of each of the Council Presidents’ last names during Scout Executive Charlie Rogers’ tenure (2011-2018).
These include NEU-(Russ Neubauer)-FA-(Patricia Farrell)-BU-(Mike Burg) and AL-(Harry Alberts)-MA (David Maxwell).
JB and Ellie Rettew
