Rothrock Pavilion Dedication

The Rothrock Pavilion, dedicated to William “Biff”Davis, is a testament to the extensive service and leadership of Bill Davis who was an active participant in Troop 117, Octoraro Lodge #22, the HSRAA and many other facets of Scouting.
Cotter Pavilion

The “Puerto Rico” pavilion in Boonesboro Campsite at Camp Horseshoe was dedicated to Theodore Cotter, Scoutmaster of Troop 27, who passed away in 2009.
Foard Pavilion

The Foard Pavilion, dedicated in May 1985, was the previous home of the Camp Ware Nature Lodge.
Cooper Field

Cooper Field at Camp John H. Ware 3rd was named in honor of a longtime dedicated Scouter Tom Cooper who passed away at Camp Ware in 2007.
McIlvaine Plaque

Oldland Plaque

The Timberline campsite pavilion at Camp Horseshoe was dedicated to Kevin Oldland from Troop 95 Georgetown, DE.
DuPont Plaque
2024 – Contributed by Andrew Coe
This plaque about Pierre S. DuPont, one of the largest early benefactors of Camp Horseshoe, was installed on one of the rocks lining the Camp Horseshoe parking lot entrance.
Hess Plaque
