Making Cups

Merry-Go-Round

What will they think of next? Campcraft staffers built this fully-functional Merry-Go-Round in their area for the 2010 season. To operate, four folks (balanced across from each other) sit on the logs (as shown) while others raise the apparatus up the center pole. Tension in the machine increases, and when the carousel gets to a certain height, the tension is released and the apparatus spins around the center pole until it hits ground.
